My Musings – Post-COVID, the church that my mom and dad (until his passing in 2016) had attended since 1959 folded. The victim of a graying flock that had been gradually been passing into eternity, with not enough young blood filling the pews or paying the bills. This is the same church where I and my two brothers accepted Christ’s gift of eternal life. Presumably a sad end to a church that had faithfully proclaimed the Gospel, and a heartbreak for my 87 year old…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
