Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according to the rules. My Musings – Do you ever wonder if we, as a Church, spend too much time being involved in “civilian affairs?” That we spend too much time competing according to worldly rules? How much displeasure do you think this might bring to our “commanding officer?”
My Advice – We must live “in” the world until the Lord calls us home. But we must not be “of” the world. It might do us all some good to “reflect on what [Paul] is saying” in order…
