God doesn’t deal with it. He dealt with it.

“It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins… [but] by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.” (Hebrews 10:4, 14).

My Musings – Strange isn’t it? There once was a time when God’s chosen believed that their was enough sin in their lives that needed some kind of atonement — “the blood of bulls and goats.” These sacrifices were insufficient, actually “impossible,” to get the job done. ‘Those sacrifices [were merely] an annual reminder of sins.” (Hebrews 10:3, NIV 1984). “Only a shadow of the good things that [was] coming—not the realities themselves.” (Hebrews 10:1, NIV 1984).

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
