Man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. (James 1:20, NIV 1984).
My Musings – What makes you angry? Is it about things that “bring about the righteous life that God desires?” If not, it is “man’s anger,” not a righteous anger. Man’s anger is driven by the “moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent” in the world system, not by “humbly accept[ing] the word planted in [us].” (James 1:21, NIV 1984). It is nearly impossible “in [man’s] anger [to] not sin.” (Ephesians 4:26, NIV 1984). So, it is very important for us to study the life of Jesus, who was “gentle and humble.” To learn what brought about the “righteous anger” that He sometimes exhibited, “yet without sin.”
My Advice – Do you have a “man’s anger” problem? The Holy Spirit can “save you” from that.
