He [Amaziah] did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, but not wholeheartedly. (2 Chronicles 25:1–2, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Not exactly how I would like to be eulogized or remembered. What could be worse? Maybe hearing them from the lips of the Master.
My Advice – “So then, dear friends…[let’s] make every [wholehearted] effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.” (2 Peter 3:14, NIV 1984).

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
