Not In Vain?

“Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10, NIV 1984).

My Dad’s brother.

My Musings – Hopefully we can hang in there as a nation long enough that those who served in WWII and still remain are no longer around to see its demise. I hope this for the rest of us, that those who died did not die in vain. But hope is waning.

My Advice – Make sure your allegiance is to Christ’s Kingdom. It will never fall. “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20, NIV 1984).

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
