Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? (Romans 8:33–34, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Who indeed. It is as if to say, who would dare to level a charge or condemn God’s elect. When God justifies no charge will stick, no condemnation will stand. “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1, NIV 1984). Herbert might hear a who, but God will not.
My Advice – “What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, NIV 1984). No One – if. Don’t let the “if” get in the way. Replace it with “in.” “In Christ Jesus.“
Thank you for sharing the Word and your helpful, inspiring insight. I find it helpful to me, and this one lifts us up to a higher plane. Thank you.
