The Same

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. (Hebrews 13:7–9, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Public opinion may have changed, “all kinds of strange teachings” about Jesus may be circulating but the good news, the Gospel of Christ has not changed. We may think it was the change of public opinion that carried Him to the cross, but counsels in Heaven plotted that course long before creation. Before the fall.

My Advice – Do not be swayed by public opinion, by strange teachings. What was true about Christ in days gone by are still true today. The Gospel “has stayed the same.” ” Heaven and earth will pass away, but [His] words will never pass away.” (Mark 13:31, NET 2005). Good news indeed!
