Plausible Deniability

For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers…ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. (Titus 1:10–11, 16, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Many claim to know God but teach things that are contrary to His Word. Their aim is to deceive their listeners into believing their lies. But their words and actions will betray them. Instead of demonstrating that they know and follow Him, they are actually denying Him.

My Advice – Do not be misled. Do not be ruined. Listen carefully, watch closely and be discerning.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
