Not To Be Found

Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. (Psalms 37:1-2, 10, NIV 1984).

My Musings – We certainly do not have to look very hard to find them now. And it is easy to fret about them having their way or be envious of their power. But these last only a season before they wither and die away, before they are no more. Leaving nothing to fret about or be envious over.

My Advice – Follow the righteous path of Christ. In the end, the evil will have much to fret about and will be envious of you.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
