Want Extra Fries With That?

My Musings – In my line of work (accountant) we have our busy seasons that typically result in extended work hours.  Since I have about an hour commute, and to save time once I get home, I tend to eat a lot of fast food on my drive home.  I know, not too healthy, but it is hard to eat a salad on the road.  Anyway, on such rolling repasts, when I think I have finished my food, I am pleasantly surprised to find some extra French fries that have spilled out into the bottom of the takeout bag.  And a bit disappointed when there are none.  Kind of like an encore at the end of a concert.  You expect it…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
