“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13–15, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Post-modern or popular theology would have us believe there are many paths to God. There are only two paths, but only one leads to God. Jesus said, “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.” (John 10:9, NIV 1984). If that was not clear enough, He also said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, NIV 1984). You cannot get in through a back door. Nor is their a front door “around the back.”
My Musings – Now that “you know the way,” which road will you choose? The one that “leads to destruction,” or the one “that leads to life?” Be one of the “few.”
