My Musings – Imagine, if you will, an Isosceles triangle. At the apex is God. Perfection. That should be our aim. Unattainable in this life, but the pursuit of Godliness must still be our goal as we journey through this life. At the base of the triangle, you, me and fellow believers. We have roughly common beliefs and faith values. Yet some distance (perhaps doctrinal differences) remains between us because we are still a work-in-progress. But as we grow in the faith, moving upward towards the apex, the two ascending legs draw us closer to one another, as we grow closer to God. The result? Our “roughly” common beliefs and faith values become less rough as we are becoming “of one mind.” As the differences disappear, we become more likely to “live in peace.“
