How Will We Manage?

If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan? (Jeremiah 12:5, NIVC 1984).

My Musings – If we have trouble trusting in God when things are going well, how can we possibly expect to do well when things get tough? So, God takes the difficulties that come into our life to build our faith and to teach us how to “manage in the thickets.”

My Advice – When tough times come, and they will come, don’t retreat into the “safe country,” or you will always find yourself stumbling and never growing.
