“So, if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?” When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.” (Acts 11:17–18, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Are there some today that we in the Church feel are unworthy of the Gospel? Well, we are all unworthy. And “God [offers] them the same gift as he gave us, who [believe] in the Lord Jesus Christ.”
My Advice – “Who [are we] to think that [we] could oppose God?” Because “God [offers] even [those who look, talk or sin differently than we do] repentance unto life.” The means to salvation is exclusive, but the invitation is all-inclusive. Let’s not withhold what Christ does not.
