I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. (Philippians 4:11–13, NIV 1984).
My Musings – In order to learn to be content under varying circumstances, one must go through varying circumstances. Of course, it is easier to be content when well fed. Not so much when not. And it is not always about our daily “bread.” And you can learn to do the same “in any and every situation.“
My Advice – When going through difficult times, learn from them.
