The Brew Is A Musing

The disciples … were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:25–26, NIV 1985).

My Musings – “People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”— A.A.Milne. There is nothing we can do to make the impossible possible. We prove this every day of our life. Only an all-powerful God can take the impossible and make it possible. Only an all-loving God would do that for us. And He did. “We have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.” (1 John 4:14–15, NIV 1984).

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
