“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7–8, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Why do we have no real fears or worries? Because our trust and confidence are in the LORD. Rooted in streams of living water. Trials (heat) and tribulations (drought) will come. But because our roots run deep (sent out), we still bear fruit. It is not unusual for the fruit from such circumstances to have more flavor, than the fruit from more favorable circumstances. The most favorable does not always result in the most flavorful.
My Advice – How green are your leaves?…
