In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth … and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. He [Jesus] was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (Genesis 1-2, John 1:2–3, NIV 1984).

“I and the Father are one. The Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father.” (John 10:30, 15:26, NIV 1984).

“The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my [Jesus] name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26, NIV 1984).

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:18–19, NIV 1984).

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
