Unfathomable

Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. (Psalm 145:3, NIV 1984).

My Musings – We live in an age of science and reason. At least we like to think so, when we really have so much to learn. But we think that if we cannot fathom it, then it must be foolishness. But what is foolishness really?

“Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a ‘fool’ so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness;’ and again, ‘The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.’ So then, no more boasting about men!” (1 Corinthians 3:18–21, NIV 1984).

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
