“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:16–18, NIV 1984).

They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2:10, NIV 1984).

My Musings – “They perish because they refused to love the truth.” To believe the truth. What truth? That God gave His only Son so they would “not perish.” So that they would not be condemned. God did not condemn them to hell. They stood condemned already. God provided the…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
