He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. (Psalms 147:4, NIV 1984).
My Musings – A galaxy is composed of gas and dust and stars — billions upon billions of stars. (Carl Sagan). Scientists estimate there are between 100 billion and 200 billion galaxies. I have a hard time remember one person’s name immediately after meeting them. God not only set the precise number of the stars (not one less or one more), but He can also name each and every one.
He knows everything there is to know about you. “From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him.” (Acts 17:26–27, NIV 1984).
