So, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed. I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line.” (Isaiah 28:16–17, NIV 1984).
My Musings – What use is a measuring line that is not just? Or a plumb line that is not righteous? Certainly not ones to be trusted? Nor ones that will never dismay.
My Advice – “Come to him [Jesus], the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to Him.” (1 Peter 2:4, NIV 1984). You “will never be dismayed,” for He is just and righteous. “A tested stone?” Indeed. For He was “tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15, NIV 1984).

Amen!
