My Musings – We might add as well, “what is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” (James 4:14, NIV 1984). And “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:34–35, NIV 1984). Wither, fall, and vanish. If we are wishing for anything more, then we must attach ourselves to what “stands forever.” The One who was “was with God in the beginning.” (John 1:2, NIV 1984). The One to which “all who [receive] Him, to those who [believe] in His name, He [gives] the right to become children of God – born of God” (John 1:12, 13, NIV 1984). Born again, to “never pass away” again.
My Advice – Stand with the Word and stand forever. “The Word [is] God.” (John 1:1, NIV 1894)
