No Trouble

It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction. (Philippians 3:17–19, NIV 1984).

My Musings – It does at times feel like I am writing the same things over and over again. If not as a safeguard for my faithful readers, at least for me. As for those who “live as enemies of the cross of Christ,” it should bring tears to our eyes. Tears because if the repetition of hearing the Gospel from me and many others does not get through to them, “their destiny is [indeed] destruction.” So, “it is no trouble for me to write the same things” over and over again, because one of these times it may just get through.

My Advice – Pray that my “vain repetitions” are not really in vain.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
