Do not be afraid of [what can] kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? My Musings – What are you afraid of?  Covid-19?  Unemployment?  The growing divide in our country (race, economic, political, generational)?  Foreign threats?  Deep state? Pending medical tests?  Security in retirement?  Male pattern baldness?  Okay, maybe not that last one.  Real or imagined there are many things that cause us fear in this life. Some…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
