My Musings – “Only two things protect America — that’s the grace of Almighty God and the United States military.” (Charlie Daniels). From its humble beginnings, it seems clear that the LORD built this “house” into one of the great “kingdoms” of history. The United States military is merely a tool that God provides as a means to protect it. His grace is sufficient to watch over America with or without it. But if God ever withdraws His grace, the United States’ military will not be enough to protect it. Given the moral direction of America, I fear that we are very much in danger of seeing His grace withdrawn. If not for the sake of the elect, a remnant if you will, it may have been withdrawn before now.
My Advice – What can we do? “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NIV 1984). Let’s do it.
