“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8–9, NIV 1984). 

My Musings – I do not know anything about Clarice Fluitt, so I am not in a position to recommend her ministry or steer you clear.  I do like the above quote, however.  And while “sound bites” do not make (or break) a ministry, this one would be a good start.

When someone says this about someone else “he (or she) is not who you think they are,” it usually means something negative.  But not in the case of God.  Whether you think ill or well of Him, He is no where near who you think He is.  He is inconceivably more.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
