Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.  (Hebrews 10:22–25, NIV 1984). 

My Musings – The look and feel of real leather.  Works just like a Xerox. I can’t believe it’s not butter. Experience church virtually.  What do all these have in common?  They are not the real deal.  Good substitutes when the real thing is unavailable or circumstances won’t allow, but they are still substitutes for the bona fide experience.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
