Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:13–14, NIV 1984).

For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: “ ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.’ ”So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. (Romans 14:10–12, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Yes, for as little as every “idle word” (Matthew 12:36). Acting casual or aloof will not cut it. We cannot hide it, cover it up or pretend that it was no big deal. While our sins are forgiven and not held against us, we must still give an account for “things done while in…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
