God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. My Musings – We need not lack courage or confidence when testifying about the hope we have in Christ Jesus. Nor do we need to be apologetic. For the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us is at our disposal. But at the same time we must not come off as cocky, arrogant or “in your face.” We must season our witness with love and self-discipline.
