No Other Way

As for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right. (2 Thessalonians 3:13, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Is that possible? To tire of doing what is right? To get to the point where we no longer care? Apathy? I think maybe that it is.

My Advice – We need to fight against this. May He renew our strength. Rekindle the fire and passion within. To do what is right simply because it is right. Not for reward or recognition, but because we see no other way of doing things.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
