My Musings – The specific context of this passage concerns King Jehoshaphat and the Edomite army marching against him. Our battles in life may not be as ominous as the one facing Jehoshaphat, but there will be battles nonetheless, and they will make us afraid and discouraged. But we need not retreat, and we need not face them alone. For the Lord will be with us. Our battles are His battles…
