As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10–11, NIV 1984).
My Musings – “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.” (Robert Louis Stevenson). It’s not about the number of followers you have, or the hits or the likes. God will accomplish whatever He desires and achieve whatever purpose for which He sends it. We will not be rewarded by how it buds or flourishes, but by our good intentions and faithfulness to the Word.
My Advice – Just be good and faithful. “[The] master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” (Matthew 25:21, NIV 1984).
