Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:1, 4-5, 11-12, NIV 1984).

My Musings – When we were kids, we used to play a game called connect the dots. Sometimes connecting the dots ended with the completion of some kind of illustration. Sometimes it was taking turns drawing lines between dots to eventually create squares with a series of dots. Whoever completed the fourth line to close a square earned a point. I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
