End With The Beginning

After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? (Galatians 3:3, NIV 1984).

My Musings – We are no more able to maintain or sustain our salvation by our own efforts than we were to attain our salvation by our own efforts. So, it is not faith plus works, it is faith producing works. Because those who have been born of the Spirit are transformed by the Spirit. Finally, salvation is not the result of works, works is the result of salvation.

My Advice – Let your deeds be evidence of your salvation, rather than salvation being evidence of your deeds.
