All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. (Proverbs 21:2–3, NIV 1984).
My Musings – “Bad leaders care about who’s right. Good leaders care about what’s right.” (Simon Sinek). This has a broader application than leadership. Far too many in our culture care more about being right than about weighing in their heart what is right. Sacrificing doing what is right in order to do what seems right. Too blind to see that all too often they are not right, but too proud to admit it.
My Advice – “Seems right is not always that same as is right. Care enough about what is right, that you can let go of being right.
