Once more a remnant of the house of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above. (Isaiah 37:31, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Unless a plant takes root below, it cannot bear fruit above. What’s more, “if the root is holy, so are the branches,” (Romans 11:16, NIV 1984), that bear the fruit.
My Advice – “This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples.” (John 15:8, NIV 1984). Not seeing any fruit? Check your roots. If you have “received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:6–7, NIV 1984).
