Never Disappointed

The Brew Is A Musing

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:32–33, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Our priorities are often mixed up.  We strive for things we cannot keep, and ignore the things that once attained we can never lose.  Our priorities are mixed up because our perspective is too short-sighted.  We want things that immediately “satisfy” and neglect what will never disappoint us.  Too often, immediate gratification trumps lasting peace and contentment.

My Advice – Seek it, it will be given.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
