Does He?

“Does he who implanted the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? Does he who disciplines nations not punish?” (Psalm 94:9, NIV 1984).

My Musings – “Veni (I came), vidi (I saw), vici (I conquered)” — Julius Caesar, 47 BC. “I hear, I see, I will punish.” — God. Man tends to think He does not hear the things we say or see the things we do. That we will get away with it. How foolish of us. “Take heed, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?” (Psalms 94:8, NIV 1984).

My Advice – It doesn’t have to be this way. If we call on Him, He will hear. If we reach out to Him, He will see. If we confess our sins, He will forgive. “For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance. Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.” (Psalms 94:14–15, NIV 1984).

I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
