My Musings – Our forefathers taught their children, so that they would know the gospel and that they would in turn teach it to generations yet to be born. Take a look at just about any poll, on religion in general and Christianity in particular, and it is quite obvious that there has been a progressive erosion in knowing the truth about God and trusting in God. The correlation between the decline in these statistics and the increase in violence, divisiveness and downright evil is hard to dismiss. Before much more time passes, we may be witnesses…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
