The Reward She Has Earned
A wife of noble character who can find? Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Give her the reward she has earned. (Proverbs 31:10, 28-29, 31, NIV 1984)
I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.

She sounds like a very special lady. Thinking of you on this very difficult day. It is bittersweet when we say goodbye here on earth.
Dear brother as one who only knows you from afar as it were – please receive our love and condolences at this time. Thank God there is nothing cliche about the wonderful promises of God. Your dear wife no longer ‘knows in part’ but is with the most wonderful person in existence. God bless and strengthen you at this time. (Ken And Aly Riddles)
I’m so, so sorry you lost the love of your life, Steve. I watched her video again with the intentions of refreshing my memory with just snippets of it. But I ended up watching almost all of it because her story was so captivating. I chuckled when she told about driving a four-wheeler with you white-knuckling it on the back. Even though she’d been through crushing challenges, she saw God working in her life. She must have been an amazing wife/mother/grandmother. God blessed her with you, an equally amazing husband who remained devoted to her and gave her up to the glories of Heaven. God bless you and your family, Steve.
Steve, my heart feels your loss and I share your comfort of knowing Eileen is at home with our Lord. Check your email. Holding you and your family up in my prayers. Love you in the Lord, Steve – Bruce
