[This] is the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:8–13, NIV 1984).
My Musings – It can’t be any clearer than that. Confess with your mouth, believe in your heart. Confess what? “Jesus is Lord.” Believe what? “God raised Him from the dead.” To what effect? “You will be saved.” Saved from what? God’s wrath. Saved by what? God’s abundant grace. Any exceptions? No. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
My Advice – There is no shame in trusting in this promise from God. For, “anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” Rather, He “richly blesses all who call on him.”
“Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.” (Genesis 15:6, NIV 1984). Believe, and claim the credit.

“My Musings” is a perfect question/answer statement to share with anyone who is seeking the Lord in their hearts. Thank you, Steve.
