Spreading Everywhere

Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. (2 Corinthians 2:14, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Today I surpassed 100,000 all time “hits” on my blogs. Not a huge amount considering that I’ve been “musing” for about seven years, nevertheless a personal milestone for me. As one might imagine, about 75% of the hits have been from my home country – the United States. The remaining 25,000 have reached 126 of the world’s 195 countries (65%) at least once.

I have not “[spread] everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him,” but “thanks be to God” that He has granted me this ministry. I leave to Him the paths my musings take. For my readers, faithful, casual, or random I hope the “fragrance” will always point you to Him. Otherwise, I “fear that I was running or had run my race in vain.” (Galatians 2:2, NIV 1984).

My Advice – If you run to Him, you will not run in vain.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
