My Musings – There are those who are satisfied with just a “taste” of Christianity. Just enough to appear and feel pious and righteous, but not so much that it is inconvenient, uncomfortable or otherwise interferes with the rest of their life. This is so backwards. Instead, we should be concerned if the rest of our life is interfering with or obstructing our walk with Christ. There is so much to the “abundant life” that we should be craving more.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
